Jamie has served two terms as President of the Central Canada CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Organization. The CCIM designation is considered to be the Ph.D. of commercial real estate. In 1993 Jamie was one of only 12 people in all of Canada to receive his CCIM designation and since then has been providing professional commercial real estate services for corporations, institutions, government and the private sector. A few of Jamie’s completed transactions consist of: a sale of a 130,000 s/f facility in Colborne, the sale of 125,000 s/f manufacturing and warehousing site in Bloomfield, the Sale/Leaseback of the 303,000 s/f Nortel facility in Belleville, the sale of the original Corby’s Distillery site 85,000 s/f and 186 acres located in Corbyville, the sale of the 51,000 s/f Vagden Mills building in Trenton to Korean manufacturers, the lease of a 50,000 s/f industrial building and the sale of the Columbus McKinnon 130,000 s/f plant in Cobourg to an expanding manufacturer and the sale of the property known as Prince Edward Heights located in Picton a 240 acre, 100,000 s/f institutional facility and a 242 home residential complex. Office/Retail Lease transactions include: a 12,000 s/f site selection and lease negotiations for Regional Ontario Property Assessment Corporation (OPAC), Hastings County Health Unit (3,500 s/f), Victorian Order of Nurses (7,000 s/f), Canadian Red Cross (1,800 s/f), the sub-lease negotiations for Clarica ( 3,000 s/f Quinte Mall), site selection and lease negotiations for Clarica’s new 5,100 s/f offices, the 6,000 s/f site selection and lease for Cogeco Cable and industrial leases for Spar Aerospace and the Department of National of Defense.
