Mick’s island roots were planted in his early teens, when his family moved from B.C.’s north to Port Alberni. Having spent his formative summers in the spectacular beauty of central Vancouver Island, Mick found that Victoria offered the opportunity and excitement of the city without compromising the island lifestyle he loved.
